Michele Thompson has handled a wide variety of bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including the representation of chapter 11 corporate debtors, chapter 7 trustees, and a range of creditors and equity holders in various insolvency matters, as well as in related out of court workout proceedings. She has litigated several adversary proceedings to a successful verdict for her client, and has extensive experience with all phases of litigation.
Ms. Thompson received her law degree from the Golden Gate University in 2005, and graduated from San Francisco State University in 2002 with a degree in Journalism. During law school, Ms. Thompson was an associate editor for the Golden Gate University Law Review and received Witkin and CALI Awards for Excellence in Contracts, Legal Writing and Research and Criminal Law.
Ms. Thompson is a Bay Area native. Prior to entering law school, she enjoyed working with several local businesses and understands the challenges of the small business owner.
